How does booking work?
Send the inquiry form and I’ll reply within 24 hours. Signing the agreement or paying the 20% retainer, whichever comes first, holds your date; the balance is due 7 days before the ceremony, paid through the Client Portal.
Do we need a permit to photograph at City Hall?
Your ceremony appointment and any fees the building charges are arranged directly with City Hall — they set their own rates and that arrangement is yours, not mine. Once you know your appointment time, send it over and I’ll plan the portraits around what the building allows that day.
What time of day is best?
Late afternoon, if the Clerk’s office gives you the choice — that is when the rotunda takes its best light, and the fourth-floor gallery stays well-lit. If your slot lands elsewhere in the day we work with what the building gives us; there is always a good corner.
How many guests can we bring?
The Clerk’s office sets the guest limit for a civil ceremony, and it is smaller than most people expect — confirm it when you book your appointment. Whatever the number, I photograph around it: the group frame on the staircase works with two witnesses or twenty.
When do we see the photographs?
I aim to send a short sneak peek within a couple of days. The full edited gallery follows within 3–4 weeks, as high-resolution files to print and share.
